How to Use

Starting Your Watch

If your watch has stopped:

  1. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in.
  2. Turn the crown clockwise 20–30 times.
  3. The watch will begin running.
  4. Wear the watch regularly to keep it wound automatically.

A fully wound NH34 has a power reserve of approximately 41 hours.

Crown Positions

The NH34 has three crown positions.

Position 0 – Normal Position

The crown is fully pushed in against the case.

Function:

  • Manual winding

Turn the crown clockwise to wind the movement.

Position 1 – Date & GMT Setting

Pull the crown out until you feel the first click.

Functions:

  • Adjust the date
  • Adjust the GMT hand

Important: Do not change the date between 8:00 PM and 4:00 AM, as this may damage the movement.

Position 2 – Time Setting

Pull the crown out one click further until you feel the second click.

Function:

  • Set the local time

The seconds hand will stop, allowing you to set the time accurately.

How Do I Know Which Position I'm In?

Position 0

  • The crown is fully against the watch case.
  • You can wind the watch by turning the crown clockwise.

Position 1

  • Pull the crown out gently until you feel the first click.
  • The crown sits slightly away from the case.
  • This position is used to adjust the date and GMT hand.

Position 2

  • Pull the crown one click further until you feel the second click.
  • The crown is at its maximum extension.
  • This position is used to set the local time.

Setting the Time

  1. Pull the crown to Position 2.
  2. Turn the crown until the correct local time is displayed.
  3. Push the crown back in to resume normal operation.

Setting the Date & GMT Hand

  1. Pull the crown to Position 1.
  2. Turn the crown in one direction to adjust the date.
  3. Turn the crown in the opposite direction to adjust the GMT hand.
  4. Push the crown back in when finished.

Important: Avoid changing the date between 8:00 PM and 4:00 AM.

What Is the GMT Hand?

The GMT hand makes one full rotation every 24 hours, allowing you to track a second time zone.

For example:

  • Hour hand: Your local time.
  • GMT hand: Your home time or another time zone.

This makes the NH34 ideal for travel or staying connected with people in different parts of the world.

Care Tips

  • Wind the watch before wearing it if it has stopped.
  • Keep the crown fully pushed in when not adjusting the time.
  • Avoid exposing the watch to strong magnetic fields.
  • Clean the case and bracelet regularly with a soft microfiber cloth.
  • Service the movement approximately every 5–7 years for optimal performance.
